Yipeeee.. Long Holiday coming up but no friends to share it with...

Here comes the long Gawai holiday. I remembered in year 1983 or 1984 (i think),we get to go on school holidays for weeks for the Gawai holiday which coincide with the Hari Raya celebration. That was fun when you are surrounded by friends. As we grew older, we miss faces that we use to know. I don't know what happen but friends that we use to know end up merely being a face without a name in our memory. So sad but it is happening everywhere. My girls are going through the same phase. After high school, everyone went their own ways and the face we use to know will be just another face without a name in our memory.

Gawai 2011

This year will be the most quiet Gawai I've ever celebrate. No poco2x this time as we will not be going back to the longhouse for the gawai celebration. Anyway wishing everyone the best Gawai 2011 celebration and take care.
